About Us

 

Dive Addiction, as the name suggests, is all about our passion and enthusiasm for everything thing Scuba Diving. The owner, Joseph Bicanic, did his first Discover Scuba Dive on Heron Island (Queensland Australia) back in 1999 and was instantly hooked on the sport. 

 

Diving started, as always, with a single tank Diving and a sense of adventure. Soon videography became an integral part of most dives.

Tec diving was the next phase followed by Cave Diving then Closed Circuit Rebreathers (CCR). 

 

Since then Joseph has travelled extensively around Australia and abroad engaging in various forms of Diving ranging from fun and easy Tropical Diving to the more challenging and Technical Dives.

 

Dive Trip Tour Leader 

Tour Leading a Dive Group can be a lot of fun (and have its fair

share of head aches). From monitroing payments to making

sure everyone is on board the plane, boat, barge, taxi or what

ever means of transport is requirered for that journey. 

Of course making sure everyone is having fun is probably

the most important (and rewarding) part.

Joseph has lead trips to both local and International destinations

as close as the HMAS Swan in Dunsborough, Raja Ampat

in the Indonesian Archipeligo and to Mexico for ocean,

Cavern and Cave Diving.

Mt Gambier Region - Tank Cave, Kilsbys Sinkhole, The Pines Cave, Fossils, Allendale Cave, Little Blue, Engelbrechts - West, Piccaninnie Ponds, Iddlebiddy, Ela Elap and everyones favourite Mt Gambier Site - Gouldens.

Nullarbor Region - Weebubbie, Murra, Olwolgan, Tommy Grahams.
