SDI Solo Diver Course
Looking for some independent bottom time with the ability to dive safely on your own? Then the SDI Solo Diver Course is for you. Learn to plan and execute Solo dives within recreational limits and with a redundant gas supply (this course can be done as a SDI Solo + TDI Side Mount Diver Course).

Pre Course - e-Learning module.
1 Night of Theory, Gear Configuration.
1 Day with 2 Open Water Dives.

Water skills include learning tec style finning techniques (frog / tec flutter / back / helicopter), managing side mount cylinders (for shore, boat and cave entry), maintaining trim and buoyancy whist performing skills.

Equipment:
Primary cylinder, volume appropriate for planned dive, and student gas consumption.
Redundant cylinder, volume appropriate for safe ascent plus reserve.
Regulators for each cylinder with a submersible pressure gauge.
Buoyancy compensator device (BCD) with power inflator appropriate for configuration chosen.
Exposure suit adequate for diving environment.
Mask, snorkel, whistle and fins.
Dive computer and an additional depth and timing device; backup computer recommended.
Surface Marker Bouy (with 25 lb lift) and reel of sufficient length (depth + 50%).
